CBD works like magic when it comes to managing period pain and menstrual cramps.
- Acts as a muscle relaxant.

- Used to overcome tender breasts, bloating and upset stomach, headache, lower sex drive.
Popular Medicine To Treat Period Pain & Cramps
They are definitely one of the best CBD brands. You do not need to have second thoughts on their quality.
They make it a point to give the finest quality products and exceed the expectations of people.
They have a wide range of products that you can choose from.
From CBD-infused latte to tinctures, vapes, and more, the popularity of CBD over the last few years has skyrocketed, appearing in a wide range of products and hitting the market in many forms.
Available to buy in all states, CBD is as versatile as it is accessible. Boasting a number of key benefits, from a better night’s sleep to pain relief, there are some others to consider – and bring into the bedroom. CBD can lead to better sex in multiple ways.
The Link Between Mental Health and Sexual Health
Mental health is the key to improved sexual health and experience. According to a study, about 18% adults in the United States are affected by anxiety disorders. These disorders, which include OCD, PTSD, social anxiety disorder, general anxiety disorder, and others, have many negative effects on sexual health, e.g. loss of libido.
Furthermore, for men, any sort of anxiety, including the infamous ‘performance anxiety’, can constrict blood flow and lead to problems with achieving and maintaining an erection. For women, stress and anxiety can trigger vaginal dryness, which results in the body not being lubricated enough for pleasurable and comfortable sex.
The Sexual Benefits of CBD for the Mind
When ingested, CBD can help encourage relaxation and reduce anxiety. Beyond helping fight the blood vessels’ constriction and increasing both sensation and blood flow, CBD intimacy oil can help those with ‘busy’ minds relax and remain present in the moment. When the mind is preoccupied by insecurity and negative self-image, the social taboos surrounding sex, or just the everyday modern life demands, it can be virtually impossible to focus on pleasure or partner. The use of CBD allows one to feel calm, collected, and cooler, which can lead to a better sexual experience.
The Sexual Benefits of CBD for the Body
There are a wide range of CBD products available in the sexual health marketplace. Recognizing the increasing demand, manufacturers created a CBD and sex product line that includes a variety of offerings, e.g. CBD suppositories, CBD intimacy oil, etc., which can be used for better sex. Many women have reported reduction of discomfort and inflammation as well as heightened sensation. Apart from helping those with chronic symptoms because of illness, e.g. painful sex and cramps associated with endometriosis, CBD can also be used as aftercare to reduce soreness, swelling, and pain post-sex.
Conclusion – CBD Helps Create Better Sex but It’s Not a Cure-All
In conclusion, there is a reason ‘CBD and sex’ is a hot topic nowadays. CBD offers many benefits when it comes improving sexual health and experience. But you should keep in mind that it is not a magic cure. It’s not going to create desire if there is none. If you are looking to use CBD to reduce pain post-sex, consult with your doctor to rule out a medical problem before you start using a more holistic remedy like CBD intimacy oil. While CBD does help address the things that get in the way of intimacy, connection, and pleasure, it is not a cure-all.
It may sound odd to some that CBD and sex can interact in a positive way, but the truth is that CBD intimacy oil has become a popular product and for good reasons. However, it may not be for the reasons you might initially believe when it comes to sex. As with many uses of CBD, the interaction with sexual intercourse was mostly discovered by accident. For the most part, the use of CBD has been with peripheral issues that affect the overall enjoyment of sex such as relief from pain, reduction of stress, and other benefits that CBD provides.
Probably the most popular reason CBD is used, providing pain relief for chronic conditions helps to improve the overall enjoyment of sexual intercourse. The painful conditions can be from several sources such as the use of an IUD to endometriosis, arthritis, and more. Chronic pain has been affecting the quality of sex for millions of people, CBD offers a way to reduce the pain and inflammation without the side effects of prescription medications.
Another popular use of CBD for sexual intercourse is the reduction of stress. Of all the feelings that can interfere with engaging in sex, stress is one of the most prominent. The effects on the mind and body from prolonged bouts of stress is detrimental to the enjoyment of sex and even initiating such feelings may be difficult in most cases. The use of CBD helps to alleviate stress and anxiety which helps make the experience more pleasurable. For those who suffer from long bouts of stress and anxiety, a combination of CBD and other relaxation methods may offer the answer to improving your sexual experience.
Setting the Mood
There’s little doubt that many use CBD products to create the right mood for intercourse. While some of it may be a placebo effect, it is true that the relaxation properties found in CBD can help create the right mindset for enjoying an intimate night with your partner. Just like taking a drink or enjoying a delicious meal, CBD can provide a change of setting that makes the experience something to look forward to and enjoy.
It should be noted that while there is plenty of anecdotal evidence, there has yet to be a single wide-range study on the effects of CBD and sex. This is mostly due to the recent introduction of CBD to the mass market thanks to the 2018 Farm Bill. And while some of the evidence that is present may be a placebo in terms of enhancing the sexual experience. It is also true that CBD for the most part does no harm. So, at the very least you run little risk of any detrimental effects from taking CBD before engaging in sex.
The use of CBD intimacy oil has increased considerably over the past year and will continue to be a popular product. With the combination of CBD and sex becoming more apparent, there are many CBD products that can help enhance the experience.
Having a good sexual drive is not only important for a healthy relationship, but it also affords you balance in your psychological and mental health. You might be wondering if CBD intake will improve your libido, if your sex drive can get a boost with a dose of CBD. Is CBD and sex a match made in heaven? I will say yes! Here is what I mean
The Sexual receptors and actions in the body
There are different receptors and hormones that are responsible for sexual responsiveness, and how much pleasure and satisfaction you will derive from sex. These receptors and hormones determine your body’s response to sex stimulations like touch, caresses, and kisses, etc. what happens when these hormones are triggered directly or indirectly? One such receptor is the (ECS) Endocannabinoids system, and researchers have found out that these ECS are the biggest ‘players’ present in sexual reproductive parts like the testicles, fallopian tubes, vagina, ovaries, etc. and the brain. You can think of these receptors as the ‘heat’ we need in preparing our meals; and if so, CBD compounds are the ‘fire’
How CBD compounds can make you sexually responsive
While there is a little study available on the direct reaction between CBD and sex, there are lots of shared experiences and anecdotes that prove that CBD in your system improves your sexual drive and help you climax longer.
CBD oils eliminate sexual pains
The major turn off during sexual activity is linked to a term called Dyspareunia. This is a common name for all conditions that leads to painful sex, and is a leading cause to why over 60% of women have low sexual responsiveness. This can be caused by inflammations in the body, dryness, and discomforts in the muscles during sex. CBD oils through Topical application can be applied to such sensitive areas, to relax the muscles.
Improved and prolonged orgasms
The peak of sexual activities is the most pleasurable moment there is, and when one of the sexual partners hardly ‘reaches’ this point, they usually have little desires for sex. But when CBD compounds are ingested, they increase the ebb of blood to sexual sensitive tissues and nerve, which gives out the right sexual sensation. An anecdote from Dr. Robb Farms backs this study by claiming that increase of flow to a female’s sex organs during sex will significantly improve the amount of sexual satisfaction she derives.
Your Anxiety kills your sex drive
“I had to start declining workloads when I saw it affected my performances (in bed) and was taking a toll on my marriage. CBD intimacy oils helped me to calm my nerves also.” an anecdote from a banker. Sex is not only a physical act, but it involves the mental and psychological presence of both partners. One of the biggest inhibitors to great sexual activity is your level of anxiety and stress. CBD intimacy oils help to calm your nerves and languid mental state, solve erectile dysfunctions, and get you fired up for a good sexual action.
Recommendations and Conclusion
When CBD compounds are used as a sexual stimulant, attention should be paid to the dosage; as too high dosages can ruin the moment and your performance. So it is recommended you start with lower dosages, and constant increments when necessary. Although there is little research on the direct of CBD on sexual drive, a general study carried out at Stanford University showed a 22% and 34% increase of sexual activity in men and women above 30 years who consumed CBD products.
With the growing legalization trend of cannabis sweeping the country, many are now provided with another method of pain management through the use of CBD products. These can be used to alleviate anything from muscle aches to headaches, CBD for cramps is a common reason, and even helping to deal with much greater levels of pain as those caused by chronic conditions and many cancers. Once qualified for use, many new cannabis users begin to explore methods of application. Most newbies to the CBD are under the impression that it can only be smoked, but that is far from the case. There are in fact, multiple methods by which CBD can be delivered into your body to begin the process of pain management. For those who are unfamiliar, choosing may be difficult as different forms of application or delivery can have some varying results. When starting to figure out the process most ask themselves what they are looking to have for their experience. Should the relief be quick or should the onset be gradual, slowly introducing the cannabis into your system? Many users are confused by how to handle CBD introduction into their system, so this article will try to help to clear some of it up. While there are a great number of ways to engage in the application for CBD, most methods tend to fall into four primary categories of CBD application: oral, sublingual, inhalation, and topical application.
Oral consumption is the most common application method, but it also tends to be the least effective. It takes on average about 2 hours to begin to feel the effects because the CBD must be processed by the body, travel through the bloodstream, and be absorbed by the body. This process takes time, but when the process is complete, and the effects do set in, they tend to have greater longevity than other application methods. For this reason, those who are taking CBD for cramps, headaches, migraines, or any other types of pain management prefer the oral method as it provides the most long-lasting effects. Being the most common method it is also the most popular. This also means that there are a lot of different edibles that are available for consumption. These include a variety of pastry items, oils (including those in capsule form), and gummies. Taking a CBD orally does result in a low absorption rate. The rate is low because CBD molecules dissolve faster and easier in fats than they do in liquids. This rate depends on how much your body takes away from the ingested CBD. The average absorption rate is as high as 6% to 20% when CBD is consumed in oil form, making it the most potent orally-consumed method. Most edible and other orally consumed CBD items usually contain 10mg dose. Studies have found that it is on the low side of what is necessary to feel the effects. Either way, it will require about 30 to 90 minutes after consumption to feel them, but they will last longer. The one advantage over THC consumption is that studies have found that by increasing the intake dosage orally of CBD does not produce negative effects or toxicity, as does the consumption of THC.
Sublingual applications are not as popular as the oral method, but they are still used often enough. The sublingual nature involves placing the CBD under one’s tongue and letting it dissolve. One of the most common ways CBD is ingested in this manner is by extracting the CBD into an alcohol-based mix known as a tincture. This concentration is very strong so only a few drops at application time are needed to feel the effects. This means that a user can simply drop a few drops of the substance under their tongue and let them dissolve. Similarly, they can also be used in spray form which can just be spritzed into the user’s mouth. Because it does not need to be processed by the body and travel through the bloodstream, the sublingual method allows for the CBD absorption to happen more quickly. With no metabolic process in the way, the liver, which filters a lot of the potency out is never encountered. As the CBD is absorbed the effects are faster, and the absorption rate is anywhere between 12% and 35%. This method and its efficacy are highly contingent on the user not immediately swallowing the spray or drops. If that happens, the CBD mixture has not had sufficient time to be absorbed, and travels through the digestive tract, much like an edible would.
Vaping is an increasingly common method of CBD application these days. The user utilizes a vaping stick which is loaded with a CBD cartridge. The contents of these cartridges range in concentration, allowing users to be able to select the potency of their cannabis strain. The vape pen heats up the CBD oil in the cartridge without releasing any of the smoke in a way that causes the oil to evaporate. This means that the absorption rate for the body is much quicker and stronger, averaging about 33%. However, depending on the concentration of the selected cartridge, the absorption rate can be as high as 55%. The onset of the effects is nearly immediate, taking from seconds to minutes. Similarly to the sublingual application, when CBD is inhaled, it travels through the lungs and right to the brain, bypassing the liver which filters a lot of the effects out. This is a method applied most commonly for acute discomforts (nausea, region-specific aches). Unlike smoking, vaping is a bit less harmful to the lungs (though not significantly) and not recommended to those with respiratory problems.
Another way to intake CBD is through topical application. One important thing to note about this method is that since the CBD is applied to the skin the effect will be different than with the other methods. In this case, the CBD never makes it into the user’s bloodstream, not their metabolic system. Therefore the effect of the topical substance is not due to blood absorption but rather by interceptors in the skin. This means that in order to bring the user significant levels of relief, the product’s concentration would have to be very high. The topical substance is applied to the skin and eventually moves through the skin’s layers. Once it does, it will begin to bind and interact with the cannabinoid receptors in the skin and be absorbed by the body. A fair question might be: how does a topical CBD user then control how much goes on their skin and how strong the concentration would be? One product type that helps deal with that is a CBD transdermal patch. The patch is worn by a user and dispenses steadily increasing amounts to the user’s skin over time. CBD molecules are assisted in ultimately making it to the bloodstream with added chemicals when delivered with the patch. This also means that CBD delivered in this way will have a higher absorption rate. If not using the patch, users can simply start a product and use only a little bit of it at a time. Once an adjustment period lapses, the amount can be gradually increased until the appropriate level of relief is applied. People use topical CBD applications for something as simple as minor skin irritations and bug bites.
Natural Nasal Sprays
The newest growing trend in CBD applications is through the use of natural nasal sprays. This method delivers the CBD right to the bloodstream, with the idea of increasing the absorption rate over the other methods. In places where cannabis use is by and large legal, natural nasal sprays are being clinically tested and sold on an increasingly wider scale. Many drugs that are administered through nasal sprays are done due to the high efficacy of crossing the blood-brain barriers, allowing for more immediate relief. CBD nasal sprays are similarly formulated with a saline solution combined with a pharmaceutical-grade CBD mix to provide quick relief for congestion, inflammation, seizures, and even certain neurological disorders. Unlike other intake methods, the degradation of the active components of CBDs with natural nasal sprays is minimal. For patients who can’t or do not wish to partake in other application methods, or are looking for a much quicker relief for certain conditions, application via nasal spray is a viable option.
Getting the word out about your cannabidiol (CBD) brand may not be as easy as you’d think. With the cannabis industry experiencing steady growth and seeding itself all around the country, it’s surprising to learn that most major online advertising platforms, such as Facebook and Amazon, provide prohibitive restrictions or outright ban brands from promoting CBD products. This news should be both sobering and a learning experience for anyone at any stage of promoting their CBD brand; some of the most reliable methods for small businesses and independent brands to market themselves are not available or unstable. This means CBD brands will have to think outside of the box if they have any hope of bringing their brand to their desired audience. Though it may take a little more hard work than required for entering into an advertising agreement with a social media giant, luckily CBD brands have a variety of different options available to them to promote their brand. In this article, we’ll quickly cover 7 things your CBD brand can do to promote yourself.
Outsource to a Marketing Agency
While it may be tempting to do it all on your own, running a marketing campaign takes time, resources, and the formulation of a specific plan of action. Plunging too much time and resources into a marketing campaign for your CBD brand can draw attention away from the refinement of the product you’re offering. There’s no shame in bringing in the professionals – especially if you’ve got the budget for it or have other projects on your plate to tackle. A marketing agency can designate a whole team or an experienced individual towards the marketing of your brand, and relying on those who position businesses for success professionally is a reliable way to see some uptick in your CBD brands market share and brand recognition.
Bring in a CBD Consultant
If the budget isn’t there for a full-blown marketing task force, a more affordable alternative is to bring in a CBD consultant. Like the consultants of every industry, CBD consultants possess a mastery of the product they’re hoping to help you sell. Having an experienced professional to help guide your thinking, provide insights, and recommend strategies can be a complete game changer for someone wanting to maintain creative control but looking for a little help in the decision making process. CBD consultancy, though, is a budding field as well – so if this is the route you choose to go, be sure to adequately research potential consultants and thoroughly vet their experience and what they have to offer your business.
Build your CBD Brand
Many of the most prominent CBD brands have built their following through a variety of methods, but virtually all of them have a website, and many also have an Instagram page. At the heart of brand building is establishing a connection with those who follow your brand and love your products. Instagram allows you to market your brand in interesting and engaging ways, but you can also start a blog on your brand website, or even begin an email newsletter to keep your most loyal followers informed about all things brand-related. Remember: The best sort of advertising is a good product.
Harness the Power of Influencers
It’s unlikely that any major celebrity will endorse your CBD product anytime soon. However, there are thousands of influencers online with thousands of followers, and many of them regularly market the products or brands that can afford whatever rates the influencer is charging. Influencers possess legions of followers who often, for better or worse, take the opinions of the influencer very seriously. And because these people are often pretty charismatic, it’s likely that they’ll provide a fresh delivery of your brand to a new and likely broader audience. Whether you’re offering CBD edibles, creams, gummies, or anything in between, let an influencer do the heavy lifting for you.
Use Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing as a brand entails allowing websites to place advertisements for your brand or a specific product on their website, and rewarding them with a percentage ‘commission’ of all purchases that result from the traffic they directed to your site. It’s helpful, in this scenario, to imagine websites as your brands’ salesman. If they can successfully drive traffic and conversions to your CBD brand, you’ll reward them for the role they played in making the sale. Many brands big and small rely on affiliate marketing for at least some percentage of their sales, and it can be thought of as a proven and reliable method for adding to your portfolio of strategies to promote your brand. It’s unlikely that affiliate marketing alone will drive the majority of your sales, but for an emerging brand especially, any extra exposure is worth shelling out a small percentage commission in exchange.
Buy Podcast or Radio Ads
Anything coming over the airwaves is reliant on advertising for sustainability. You might not be able to get your product featured on a leading podcast or a nationally syndicated radio show, but there are thousands of local stations and emerging products who also rely on advertising for their livelihoods. Getting your CBD brand featured on a podcast frequented by CBD users could be a potential game changer, and it’s surprisingly affordable. Reaching out to any of the podcasts or radio stations you or your customers enjoy and inquiring about rates is a great place to start.
Go Back to the Basics
While it may seem a little old fashioned, advertising in the world around us is still around because it works. Buying a strategically placed billboard, magazine advertisement, a little space on the placemat of a diner – all of these strategies work, and have worked, for a long time. Billboards specifically can be much more cost effective than you’d think, and if you can find one in an optimal location, it’s a great addition to your promotional portfolio.
Research indicates that more people prefer to consume cannabis in edible form than smoking or vaping it. They preferred edibles because they’re convenient, discreet, and provide a less intense high than other methods of use. They also offer a longer-lasting effect – up to 12 hours. This has opened up a whole new world for those that want to use it for medical or recreational use but don’t enjoy smoking it for one reason or another. It is not just brownies anymore either.
When you think of CBD edibles, the first thought that comes to mind is gummies, but there is so much more than just candy to enjoy. Some of these you might not have ever thought to put together but the creators of these fabulous confections have spent years perfecting their recipes for these decadent indulgences. The flavor options include gummies, lollipops, mints, sodas, granola bars, ice cream, and more. You don’t have to worry about how much you’re consuming because everything is perfectly dosed and everything listed on the label. Check out this list of some of the best CBD edibles in Colorado.

Since the 2018 Farm Bill went into law which legalized the cultivation of industrial hemp, cannabidiol or CBD has exploded on the market. While there were many who predicted CBD would become popular, few had any idea that it would become an overnight sensation around the US. From fast CBD certification to producing industrial hemp, exercising proper CBD quality control, and the sheer number of CBD products on the marketplace, it is a different world today compared to just a few years ago. But with all the promises made about CBD and its positive effect on the human mind and body, does science really agree? Keep in mind that many products make promise that for the most part do not live up to the hype. But now with CBD on the marketplace for past couple of years, science is now making their voice known about cannabidiol and its effects.
What is Cannabidiol?
Otherwise known as CBD, this is one of many chemicals that is produced by cannabis and industrial hemp. Keep in mind that cannabis is a complex plant that produces many chemicals, most famously THC. But CBD does not contain THC and its effects are not psychoactive in nature. It has a different effect on the mind and body which are not nearly as dramatic or strong. When ingested, CBD has an anti-inflammatory along with neuroprotective effect that plays on the endocannabinoid system found in many different creatures, including humans. It acts as a signal that offers a positive effect on the brain, including the regulation of pain, pleasure, concentration, the movement of the body, awareness, memory, and the processing of the senses. In other words, the CBD works with the normal functioning of the brain when it is present in the body.
Effects of Marijuana
While CBD can be derived from cannabis, most of the products on the market today come from industrial hemp. The major difference is that industrial hemp contains only a small fraction of the THC, which is the psychotropic element in cannabis that causes people to get “high”, compared to marijuana. The effects of cannabis on the brain is well known thanks to numerous studies that have been conducted for decades. While cannabis has many effects, especially on the brains of adolescents which are still developing, the CBD or cannabidiol elements have not undergone the same amount of study. This is due in large part to the legalization of CBD which is now separated from cannabis. With cannabidiol being isolated from THC and many of the other elements associated with cannabis, the studies on cannabidiol are starting to come in.
Effects of CBD
With CBD being considerably different than THC, what exactly is the effect that it has, and can it be used in treatments? The answer from science is that CBD appears to have many positive effects with few downsides when taken in recommended dosages. As with almost any product, too much in the system may have downsides. But CBD when taken in the proper amounts seems to have benefits that go past its mild effect on the brain.
Safe: When including all the data as gathered through scientific research, CBD or cannabidiol is comparatively safe to use when taken in the recommended dosages. It should be noted that while the unwanted side effects are few and far between, there will always be a small percentage of individuals that may have an allergic reaction or other effect outside the design of the CBD. The research is based mostly on those who have taken CBD as part of their epilepsy treatment. While more research is needed, from what has been gathered about cannabidiol it is generally safe to use when taken in the amounts that have been recommended.
Non-Addictive: For those who are considering taking CBD, it should be noted that it is non-addictive in nature. This means that you can take it regularly and stop at any time without becoming chemically addictive to the product, such as with marijuana or tobacco. In fact, CBD has been used to help curb addictions in some cases. Especially for those who have been taking psychostimulants, cocaine, or opioids. While you should not take CBD for addiction treatment without a doctor’s guidance, it should be noted that CBD itself is non-addictive.
No THC: In other words, CBD does not get you “high”. It is a chemical compound that does have a relaxing effect on the mind and body, but it is not psychoactive as with THC.
While the research with CBD is ongoing, the current research that is available does show some of the conditions that cannabidiol does treat. This is particularly true with neurological conditions that CBD has shown some promise in treating.
Addiction: As noted previously, CBD does seem to have a positive effect on treating certain forms of addiction. While the studies are only now getting underway on a large scale, it seems that CBD helps reduce the effects of withdrawal, making it easier for someone to pull away from addictive substances and reduce the cravings. For example, for those who try to quit smoking, using an inhaler to deliver the CBD may reduce the desire to smoke tobacco considerably. More research is needed, but large-scale studies are now underway to determine the full effect that CBD has on the mind and body of those trying to quit addictive substances.
Anxiety: For generalized anxiety, CBD has proven to be a strong treatment. It also works on related conditions such as the following.
– Social Anxiety Disorder
– Panic Disorder
It is true that studies into the effects of CBD on anxiety-related disorders is not as complete compared to epilepsy. However, the information that is known shows that CBD does have a positive effect. Both in suppressing the amount of fear that is felt along with relaxing the body. There is seemingly a considerable amount of promise that CBD holds for those who suffer from anxiety-related conditions.
Autism: Admittedly, the research of CBD into autism is still in its early stages. But it does show some promise in treating autism which is a neurodevelopmental condition. With the main symptoms of autism being unresponsiveness, the initial research has shown that CBD does help stimulate the cannabidiol 2 receptors that are in the brain. There does seem to be a link between these receptors and autism. Further research is needed, but it may be that CBD does stimulate these areas of the brain which in turn helps increase social interaction.
Epilepsy: Of all the conditions that CBD is used, the treatment of epilepsy has been the most researched. In fact, studies were begun well before CBD was legalized for general use in 2018. The results of one study conducted in 2015 demonstrated a significant reduction of seizures for those suffering from epilepsy. The reduction rate was noted as being 36.5% which was considerable. This is why CBD is a popular treatment for those suffering from epilepsy.
Parkinson’s Disease: The standard treatments for this disease seek to minimize the symptoms, although they are unable to reverse its effects on the brain. Of the small amount of research that has been done with CBD and Parkinson’s, the effect on motor function has been nominal. But the research is really only beginning and there is anecdotal evidence that CBD may have some positive effect on symptoms or at the very least not have any negative effect.
Schizophrenia: This is a condition where attention, learning, memory, and other functions of the brain are impacted severely. The type of drugs used to combat schizophrenia contain antipsychotic properties much like CBD. In addition, CBD has anti-inflammatory properties as well which may be beneficial for those suffering from schizophrenia. So, on paper CBD is promising, but the limited studies that have been conducted so far have not shown the same results. More research is needed to see if CBD does have a significant effect on those who suffer from this condition.
The known side effects of CBD are few and far between. But of the more common ones that are present they include the following.
– Changes in Appetite or Weight
The effects are generally mild and may have something to do with any additional medications that might be taken. If you experience any of these symptoms, you should stop taking CBD and speak to your doctor especially if you are taking other medications. It should be noted that for the most part, with the exception of epilepsy, CBD is still in the early stages when it comes to research. What is known is that the substance has a mild effect and can be taken regularly in recommended doses with little harm. While more research is needed, it does appear that CBD has some promising effects on certain conditions.
Although legalized, to cultivate and sell cannabidiol requires proper CBD certification. This means employing measures that ensure the best in CBD quality control so that harmful elements are not introduced into the product.
Cannabinoids (CBD) are products that are obtained from the cannabis sativa herb. Cannabis Sativa is generally a topic of contradictions all over the world. The reason behind this is marijuana. Marijuana is a highly psychoactive product which is taken to numb mind sensations for a while.
Marijuana is a significant product of the cannabis sativa plant. But this does not make the whole plant and the rest of the products harmful.
There are certain products which are made from extracts of the cannabis sativa, known as Cannabinoids. CBDs are available in the market in forms of oils, soaps, and other daily use products which even include dietary supplements. CBDs help in recovering from a chronic disease painlessly as it has the effect of numbing the nerves.
The law establishing departments of USA have permitted the usage of CBD products and have enlisted them under hemp based products. These products do not consist of the psychoactive nature of the plant.
The compound present in cannabis that is the main acting agant in the psychoactive actions in THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol). Lesser the amount of THC, lesser will be the effect on the mind. The percentage on THC content in CBDs is minimum or zero in maximum cases. This is the reason CBDs find their way out of the list of prohibited drug products. They are often considered under hemp based products. Intake of CBD does not affect the health in a negative way, but it is wise to observe how your system reacts to the intake of CBDs.
Many a times, when you go for a drug screening test, a question rises in your mind about the results if you are a regular user of CBD products. A common confusion of whether the THC content in your body will show a positive result or not, terrifies you. If you are to appear for a drug screening test for a job or a game, the THC content of your body is thoroughly checked and any discrepancy in the process leads to elimination from the event. If you use CBD products quite often, make sure they have barely any THC content in them.
Zero or minimum THC in CBD cannot be identified through these drug tests. So it is advised to check the THC level of any Cannabis product. Buying CBD products from a trustworthy source helps you get authorized products which are legally acclaimed and have been approved.
High levels of THC can restrict you from passing the drug screening test peacefully and may cause a lot of hindrance in your way. Though there are attorneys who can take up your case and try to defend you from the opponent association, you should check the CBD content to avoid hassles.
There are reputed drug companies which sell CBD products with authorized licenses and consuming CBD products without THC can cause no harm in the drug screening. Before going for a pre screening test for a job, make sure your system does not contain THC.
With the advancement of age and modernism, people have opted to rely on drugs such as narcotics and stimulants to numb their minds off the daily busy life. The emerging situation of New Jersey is an example of how terrible the consequences of drug abuse can be.
The psychotropic drug called marijuana or cannabis is one of the most widely abused drugs. Available as CBD edibles, the drug was initially used for therapeutic benefits but now it has put the state of New Jersey at war for the sake of its residents.
THE PLIGHT OF STATE
The law of the state, as well as the system of, is failing to put forward a solution for the problem that New Jersey has been facing for quite a while now. The situation is alarming having, as reported in 2013, about twenty-four thousand possession arrests of CBD edibles, seven hundred deaths and thousands of people seeking treatment in rehabilitation centers. Yet the lawmakers are unsuccessful to handle the matter.
AVAILABLITY OF THE DRUG
The acceptance and access to medical marijuana in New Jersey dispensaries and also in other states have raised the questions of the drug prevalence. In a recently conducted research, it was concluded that the frequency of abuse is related to the density of NJ dispensaries. The cultivation of cannabis is also becoming popular making it easier for anyone to get access.
The number of arrests with CBD edibles is constantly increasing. About seventy percent of the arrestees are drug users while the dealers make up the remaining 30. The obvious racial discrimination in the state makes it even more difficult to impose a just law. According to a study conducted in recent years, the Black and other minorities of the state were three times more likely to get arrested then the Whites.
The outcome of such arrests is yet horrifying with a sentence to jail, loss of employment, suspension of driving license and these consequences are far worst considering one’s immigrant status.
HOW IT AFFECTS THE BUDGET
The state of New Jersey spends colossal resources in this war against the drug. The comprehensive list includes the cost of police, courts and other departments. The state has spent about one million dollars to enforce the laws of betterment yet the situation is crucial than ever. This has caused a negative effect on the state’s budget. The money misspent on these resources could be invested in the improvement of social, educational and health benefits.
The struggling state is still far off the track to surpass this war. Under these circumstances, the step for seeking the prime solution is the need of the hour. The law enforcement is compelled to take initial measures by amending the criminal laws, supervising the widely spread and easily accessed NJ dispensaries, educating the youth about the hazards of abuse, forming a support group and rehabilitation centers and above all, putting the racial discrimination aside to perform under one banner for one cause.
It would appear that one of the biggest states that everyone was hyped about, because of Governor Phil Murphy trying to make Marijuana legal, has entered a temporary hiatus on marijuana legalization.
Here are some of the reasons why NJ has paused marijuana legalization temporarily:
Concerned parents & people of authority
Parents and the “grown-ups” are here to ruin the next exciting thing for marijuana companies, as more and more people are concerned about the safety of the general public over making pot legal. Many are concerned that pot has addiction and paranoia issues, and this could lead to a loss in morale and even cause massive panic in the people.
The grown-ups do not like the change that every state is embracing, and therefore, NJ has stated that it will be halting the legalization of Marijuana temporarily.
The patients who are on marijuana-based medications can rest easy though, for most NJ marijuana dispensary centers should still be able to provide them with marijuana. It would appear that for medial purposes, Marijuana can still be used, but on a more controlled level.
Might be good for the economy
Because marijuana was getting legalized way too soon, while the rest of the world was watching, it meant that the market was getting more and more unstable. The marijuana market was reaching new peaks, and new companies were fishing for a survival of the fittest. It was literally a massacre of new and old companies in one massive battlefield.
If the legalization is paused, marijuana companies will have time to think about the entire marijuana process and how to properly implement marketing and tips that might be necessary for the general public.
For most of the country though, the pause isn’t set in place, so we can’t be too sure about what company is going to win in the economy race. Some other states have already taken the leap
Apparently 10 other states have taken the leap, and made marijuana legalization a hiatus, especially until the general public is able to figure out what they are going to do with all this marijuana. Because marijuana is very addicting, using it in the wrong hands could cause a lot of damage to the general public’s health, and could prove to be a massive challenge for the country. Problems with people smoking all the time is prevalent enough, and this marijuana problem might hurt the country even more.
Effect on taxes
Apparently, the taxes in NJ are something that most marijuana companies are excited about, while the state itself is not. The state might have paused marijuana legalization until they have had their entire tax process laid out so that the state itself benefits from the whole ordeal.
In states that have made marijuana legal, there are no restrictions on how much CBD edibles are legal per head, which is causing issues. To evade this problem, NJ might have decided to pause the legalization.
For companies that wanted to invest in Marijuana in NJ, this might not be good news. For most of the general public though, it is.
